Students begin with core essentials: proper posture, bow grip, finger placement, intonation, left-hand agility, bowing techniques, scales, ear training, and rhythm development. As they grow, learners dive deeper into arpeggios, vibrato, shifting positions, dynamics, phrasing, tone control, and advanced articulation that give the violin its characteristic singing voice.

Strumwoods brings violin education to life through applied musicianship. Students learn to interpret melodies, play harmonies, perform in duets and ensembles, and explore music across genres — from Western classical and film scores to Rabindrasangeet, folk, contemporary pop, and cinematic arrangements.
