Strumwoods Institute of Music was founded by singer-songwriter and music producer Prithwiraj Chatterjee with a singular purpose: to establish a world-class centre for music education in Durgapur and the greater Bengal region.
Bengal—long celebrated as the cultural and musical heart of India—is home to immense talent. Yet many aspiring musicians remain underserved due to the absence of structured training, modern infrastructure, and an industry-aligned curriculum.
Strumwoods was created to bridge this gap.
Drawing from Prithwiraj’s extensive professional experience in the music industry, working closely with leading names in audio production, sound engineering, composition, and performance, Strumwoods offers a learning environment that reflects real industry standards.
